Foreman
Level Recruiting is searching for a Foreman for a luxury home builder in San Francisco.
As a foreman, you are dedicated to safety, quality, your own growth and experience, and the growth of the team around you. You the hands-on experience to be able to evaluate the highest quality of construction and demonstrate techniques to ensure the delivery of top notch carpentry. You are on-site as a go-to person for staff and clients alike. Ideally, you are looking to grow into a Superintendent role in the long term. You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring work is performed safely, in accordance with plans and specifications, and in compliance with local building codes and Cal-OSHA
- Reading plans and performing layout
- Partnering with, and lining out, subcontractors and crew
- Performing carpentry
- Opening and/or closing the site
- Representing the company if the Superintendent is not on site
- Partnering with the Superintendent on daily schedule
- Overseeing material deliveries
- Being solution-oriented with the crew and subcontractors and vendors
- Taking ownership of material use and minimizing waste
- Maintaining job site security and safety
To be successful, you’ll need:
- 6+ years of residential carpentry experience; frame to finish
- Advanced construction math skills
- Knowledge of practices, methods, equipment, materials, and tools used in residential and commercial construction
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication, fluency in English, active listening, and team-building skills
- Ability to take and give direction
- Must possess a valid drivers license and have the ability to safely operate a vehicle.
- Experience with project management software such as Procore and Bluebeam is highly desirable.
- Ability to communicate in multiple languages is also highly desirable.
- All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States to be eligible for employment.

The compensation range for this position is: $105,000 to $140,000 annually, DOE
